3M expands vehicle wrap film range offering further design flexibility
Three new films have been added to the IJ180mC Print Wrap Film range from 3M for short-term and permanent graphics customisation on vehicles with hard-to-bond surfaces
Bracknell, UK, 10 January 2018 – 3M, the science-based technology company, has expanded the premium range of IJ180mC Print Wrap Films. The three new printable IJ180mC Print Wrap Films from 3M have been specially designed to adhere to hard-to-bond surfaces including Low Surface Energy (LSE) plastic, powder coat paints and stainless steel.
The IJ180mC-10LSE Print Wrap Films from 3M has been specially designed for applying customised vehicle graphics wraps to challenging surfaces such as the LSE plastics commonly found on motocross bikes, snowmobile and ATVs.
The IJ180mC-10SLS Print Wrap Films from 3M has been expertly formulated to adhere to stainless steel applications, providing a further medium for graphics installers to complete potentially difficult installations and customisation projects. This film is ideal for applying promotional graphics to vehicles including tankers, caravans, horse trailers, refrigerated and food trucks.
The IJ180mC-10UR Print Wrap Films from 3M is an ultra-removable print wrap film intended for short-term vehicle graphics where a fast and easy installation, and clean, simple removal without heat or chemicals is required. Applications include commercial vehicles and fleet graphics and buses, as well as general indoor and outdoor signage.
The three new printable films in the IJ180 range from 3M are 3D conformable for applying to flat to compound curved surfaces, rivets and corrugations. Featuring Comply Adhesive with micro technology, the films provide advanced slideability and an initial tack enables the installer to move the film across the application surface and reposition until the correct position is achieved.
