Swemko UK have taken delivery of two brand new German Gockel Circular slitter sharpening machines to enhance their already impressive machinery line up. With four UK locations a fleet of company owned vehicles Swemko can offer a large number of customers the complete service including collection and delivery. The two new machines are additions to the current plant list instead of replacements and so capacity has grown dramatically leading to faster lead times with additional service benefits.
With good sound growth during 2014 & 2015 Swemko have had the confidence to continue the machinery investment program started back in 2011.
Swemko UK Limited a family owned business is celebrating 40 years working with machine knives this year and with the third generation committed the future is very positive indeed.
Swemko is the exclusive UK partner to Dienes of Germany with the ability to supply high quality slitting blades in various materials, surface finishes and various bevel geometry to meet numerous slitting demands.
In addition to Circular slitting blades as an exclusive Dienes partner Swemko can offer a full range of Pneumatic knife holders and Slitting systems to suit all applications including Shear, Crush and Razor at prices to meet our range of Customers budgets.
Swemko puts great energy into customer improvements making sure our customers are at the forefront of cutting technology maximising what products are in the market and to make sure parts supplied are working at their full potential. To help facilitate this Swemko offers Customer staff training on how knives should be sharpened and also knife set up on the machine.
In addition to product supply and service support Swemko is passionate about setting the standards in our industry and have developed packaging to help protect product and operator alike and make product identification quick and simple using our Slitter knife management program.
