Drupa success for Ashe Converting Equipment
Despite a reduced quantity of visitors, several highly valued contracts were agreed and signed for. Ashe were delighted with the quality of visits and look forward to working closer with the contacts made at the show.
The star performer of the show was the highly acclaimed Sapphire S2 Duplex Slitter Rewinder, with the integration of the new enhanced control system which aids customers in achieving optimum roll quality, to which our visitors were able to see.
Visitors were also introduced to our Sapphire S2 Turret Series which has a 15 second cycle time to give Convertors minimal downtime and superior output.
Our newly launched Opal EC TR for self adhesive label producers was also well received.
The 3 spindle system uses a unique, patented cut and transfer method for transferring slit materials onto new cores at line speed.
Visitors were also able to see the Converting techniques associated with the Opal narrow web range to allow high productivity finishing of plain and pre-printed label stocks.
