Friedheim adds Cartostrip to portfolio
The latest product addition to Friedheim International’s new Converting Division is Cartostrip – an easy to use, hand-held stripping device for stacks of die-cut sheets of solid and corrugated fibre board, all types of carton board and laminated board.
“We are pleased to add another significant product to our Converting Division,” comments managing director Mark Bristow. “All of these products have been taken on with the customer in mind as they are all capable of offering beneficial solutions to current converting processes.”
The Cartostrip is available in electric or pneumatic versions that differ slightly in weight (4.8 kg and 5.2 kg respectively) but not in the low level of noise produced. The minimum waste strip depth is 8.5 mm with carton board and 20 mm with corrugated. When compared with performing the stripping task manually, Friedheim says a time saving of up to 85% can be achieved by using the Cartostrip.
“Cartostrip is already recognised in the world of converting but now that it is going to be part of the growing Converting Division within Friedheim International its time and cost-saving potential can be fully realised as it reaches a wider audience,” says Richard Alcock, managing director of Cartostrip.
