Label Impressions, a progressive label and flexible packaging printer in California, has expanded its operations into a new 30,000 square foot manufacturing space.

“This expansion has been in the works for several years and is part of our long term strategic plan,” said Jeff Salisbury, Label Impressions president and CEO. “The additional space will house our finishing operation, allow us to install new, wider web flexible package printing and converting equipment, and a digital label printing press.”

In tandem with the expansion, the company has installed two additional 10-colour Nilpeter presses in 13-inch and 17-inch widths to assist in the development of unique label and pouch products, such as its ‘softscreen’ print – a low cost alternative to expensive screen printing.

The new 17-inch FB-4200 Nilpeter servo press is equipped with full UV-curing systems, auto register and multi-web capabilities opening doors to new and emerging markets.
