Packaging machinery event, Empack, returns to NEC

Empack at the NECEmpack, one of the UK’s leading packaging machinery events, returns to Birmingham’s NEC on February 24-25, 2016, providing the opportunity to evaluate and purchase the latest packaging technology and network with the industry’s brightest.

There will also be an extensive line-up of educational seminars from leading names such as Kraft Heinz, Weetabix, John Lewis and the JML Group.

New exhibitors at Empack 2016, ATS Tanner UK and A-Safe, are joining returning companies Adpak Machinery Systems, De Jong Verpakking BV, Yorkshire Packaging Systems, HERMA UK and PFM Packaging Machinery, extending the exhibition footprint and showcasing the latest packaging technology in the marketplace.

Advanced Labeling Systems will be launching its third generation R-Series Rotary Labeller, and A-Safe will be displaying its new rack protection solution, iFlex RackGuards. Elsewhere, specialists in high performance paper cushion packaging, Easypack, will be using the show to launch its Spiral Pro dispenser, which delivers high volumes of 100 per cent recycled void fill paper packaging in seconds.

Kite Packaging is using Empack 2016 to raise its profile within the industry. Not only is it taking the largest stand ever seen by event organiser Easyfairs, but it will also be launching a range of new products to the UK market.

HERMA UK will be introducing its HERMA Basic label applicator to its existing range. It has been added as a lower cost entry point, without compromising the renowned simplicity of operation and reliability applicators.

Leading coding and marking printer company, Sauven, will be showcasing its new Sauven 600 Printer with Touch Screen. It provides a more user friendly interface, offering unlimited fonts, more functions and illuminates the need for training.
