SAM wins Apex 2014 Award of Excellence
Sung An Machinery Co Ltd. (SAM) has been awarded the APEX 2014 Award of Excellence in the category of Technical & Technology Writing for its work on a Coating and Laminating Machine User Guide. The manual was written for a global customer for use in the European flexible packaging manufacturing market. A similar document is written for each piece of equipment produced by SAM and is an integral part of effective machine operation.
APEX 2014 — the 26th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence — is an international competition that recognises outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites. Communications Concepts sponsors the Awards and advises professionals who write, edit and manage business communications on best strategies and practices.
The awards were given in a range of categories including newsletters, magazines, journals and tabloids; annual reports; print media; electronic media; social media; websites; campaigns, programs and plans; writing; design and illustration; and one-of-a-kind publications. According to the APEX 2014 judges, “The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness.”
