Schreiner ProTech hires Matthias Tuebel as sales director, North America

Schreiner ProTech, a Germany-based global leader in the development and manufacture of functional labels has opened a U.S. subsidiary at the Blauvelt, NY American headquarters of its parent company, Schreiner Group LP. Longtime company sales manager Matthias J. Tuebel has been named sales director.

Schreiner ProTech is a certified development partner and system supplier to the automotive, electronics and mechanical engineering industries, producing product solutions for industrial marking purposes and authenticity protection. Its film-based functional labelling components make processes more straightforward and optimise costs.

For example, the company offers a pressure compensation seal integrated into a nameplate – a single label providing two distinct functions. Another popular Schreiner ProTech product is its colour laser film, a material for which customers can use a lone laser to both inscribe and cut. The result is resource-saving simplicity.

Schreiner ProTech is one of three key business units of the Schreiner Group LP, which provides specialty labels and label printing services to a variety of industries in more than 20 countries.

As Sales Director of Schreiner ProTech North America, Mr. Tuebel will oversee a team of five salespersons dedicated to achieving the company’s sales targets and expanding its customer base. Specifically, Mr. Tuebel will look to grow the customer base in the areas of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), automotive electronics, occupant safety systems, and electronics and engineering companies.

Prior to moving to the U.S. for this position, Mr. Tuebel was a Sales Account Manager for Schreiner ProTech in Germany and, prior to that, operated a family-owned printing business. He earned a graduate degree in Engineering, with a specialization in printing technology, from Universität HTWK Leipzig.
