The whole UV and LED-UV range for coating applications – Dr. Hönle AG at ICE Europe
At ICE 2019, Hönle shows a choice of their wide range of UV and LED-UV curing systems for coating applications.
A highlight is the UV dryer LightGuide pureUV. Due to a new reflector geometry the UV unit reaches a more than 50% higher peak intensity than comparable units – and a 10% higher performance, at, thanks to a quartz tube in front of the UV lamp, 15% lower temperature load.
Thanks to its «quick-change»-technology the LightGuide pureUV is easy to maintain: A plug base is integrated into its housing to guarantee a fast UV lamp exchange.
As other Hönle curing units, the LightGuide pureUV can be used for inert chamber systems.
All members of the Hönle jetCURE series lead to outstanding drying results, even at high production speeds. Apart from IR and UV variants, Hönle presents a further development of jetCURE LED.
The new jetCURE LED is offered in two versions. The air-cooled high- performance array has got a light aperture of alternatively 82 – 656 x 20 mm or 82 – 492 x 40 mm, so it can also be used for a reliable curing of greater working widths. Depending on the wavelength, it reaches maximum intensities from 7.000 to 18.000 mW/cm².
In addition to LED-UV and UV curing units, Hönle also offers high-tech peripheral devices, for example UV lamps, UV / LED-UV measuring – or electronic power supplies, amongst them the brand-new EPSA series: the four versions differ in their maximum outputs. Their efficiency is 97%, an improved reignition makes them extremely reliable.
Thanks to their compact design EPSA units need little space. Compared to conventional electronic power supplies their weight could be reduced by 30% which allows a very easy handling.
