Three new area sales managers join MPS

Expansion of the sales team to further support international growth

MPS has made three key appointments to its global sales team in response to successful international sales and preparation of forecasted future growth of its flexo, hybrid and offset printing presses. Joining MPS in the role of area sales manager are Niels van Groenendaal, Suwannee Tantisrisuk and Sebastiaan Rakhorst.

Increased support in Spain and Latin America

Niels van Groenendaal is the dedicated area sales manager for Spain and Latin America. Van Groenendaal brings seven years of international sales experience in Europe and the Middle East, with his most recent role as sales account manager at the Dutch firm Securitech, a supplier of specialised document verification equipment for identity fraud and forensics.

Eric Hoendervangers, global sales & marketing director at MPS comments: “Latin America has great potential for MPS, and we have shown our commitment of support there with the recent appointment of three new local agents Fencsa, Coras do Brasil and Ferrostaal Chile. Niels van Groenendaal will provide further dedicated support to all our agents and customers in this territory as well as in Spain.”

Van Groenendaal will also meet the Latin American industry at Label Summit Latin America, April 24-25 in Guadalajara, Mexico alongside the MPS local agent Printum Concepts on stand 70.

Another addition to MPS Systems Asia

To further expand its reach in Asia, MPS Systems Asia has appointed Suwannee Tantisrisuk as area sales manager. Suwannee is based in Bangkok, Thailand and is responsible for South-East Asia with a focus on Thailand and surrounding countries. She brings a wealth of direct knowledge and experience to the role through her ownership of a label printing company where she also operated flexo presses.

Tim Klappe, managing director MPS Asia comments: “With Suwannee’s experience as a business owner in this industry, combined with knowledge of flexo technology, she brings a valuable user-perspective to the position and our team, and will be instrumental in our plan to increase presence in the Asian label printing market.”

Investment in young talent

The third addition to the MPS sales force is Sebastiaan Rakhorst, appointed as junior area sales manager. After finishing his higher education in Economics, Sebastiaan gained experience in international sales, marketing and export. Rakhorst is beginning his career at MPS in an intensive traineeship program to gain valuable insight across multiple departments within MPS, and will develop into the role of Area Sales Manager.

CEO of MPS, Wim van den Bosch commented: “At MPS, we are always looking for young talent to join our team. We offer a range of internships and traineeship programs in production, engineering, marketing, finance and more, and encourage applicants to identify their area of interest.

“We warmly welcome Niels van Groenendaal, Suwannee Tantisrisuk and Sebastiaan Rakhorst to MPS and look forward to the unique contributions each of these three individuals will provide.”
