Triple time for board maker
PAPERBOARD MANUFACTURER RockTenn announces that it has received triple chain-of-custody (CoC) certification for all of its corrugated packaging facilities including converting, graphics and preprint locations.
Certified corrugated converting facilities include 13 locations. Certified graphics and preprint operations include three locations. These facilities are now independently certified to standards of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI(R)), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), representing the leading global forestry certification bodies. These organizations provide standards for third-party validation of each plant’s documented processes and chain-of-custody monitoring.
Additionally, all facilities are certified to SFI(R)’s fibre sourcing procurement requirements. This combination of certifications provides RockTenn customers with the highest degree of flexibility in making chain-of-custody or fibre sourcing claims.
