Uni Packaging Olives Et AlIn providing a customer with samples for the recent Farm Shop & Deli Show 2016 at the NEC on April 18-20, flexible packaging specialists UNI Packaging, broke all lead-time records for pouch manufacture and supply.

Its customer, Olives Et Al, required 400 pouch samples made up of eight designs to show on stand at the show. UNI Packaging received the samples request and took receipt of supporting artwork on Friday, April 8. Delivery was required a week later in advance of the show the following Monday.

UNI Packaging pulled out all the stops in production to meet deadlines. “UNI Packaging was not only effective at delivering amazing results, ahead of schedule, they also made the process stress-free. They delivered on our requirement in a very short time frame, and the pouches they produced for us proved to be show stoppers, literally, helping to create much interest in the products at the show,” said Simon Hurley, Olives Et Al’s managing director.

Commenting on its achievement, UNI Packaging’s Matt Baldock, said: “We often talk of creating added-value for our customers, but to turn around a preformed pouch in seven days is nothing short of a miracle. We enabled Olives Et Al to showcase its new products on its stand at the show and to introduce the offering to the trade press and retailers – what a result for teamwork!”
