Sun Chemical will present its latest innovations for the plastics industry at ChinaPlas 2026, taking place April 21–24, 2026, in Shanghai, China. At Hall: 8.2. Booth number F37, the company will highlight advanced colorants designed to meet demanding performance, designs and sustainability requirements.
Sun Chemical will showcase its broad range of colourants for NIR light management, including its latest innovation, Spectrasense Black K 0089 FK, enabling applications for solar heat management, laser welding and LiDAR. The company will also feature colourants for fibre spinning for PP, PES and PA fibers, including ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certified products and a new fiber grade FASTOGEN Pink K 4430 FP, which is designed for dispersion critical applications with built-in specification of the filter pressure value for the most demanding fibre applications.
For high-performance plastics, Sun Chemical provides colourants for engineering plastics (EPL) designed to withstand demanding processing and end-use conditions, including solutions for orange high-voltage components in electric vehicles and other safety-critical applications.
The company will also showcase its Heliogen pigment range, offering exceptional purity and performance for high-end and sensitive applications such as food packaging and children’s toys, as well as low and non-warping solutions for HDPE injection moulding.
In addition, Sun Chemical will present its portfolio of pigment preparations for the coloration of PVC, polyolefins, rubber and engineering plastics, including Eupolen NQ, its next-generation pigment preparation technology for polyolefins.
Beyond materials, Sun Chemical will showcase its suite of digital tools, including Pigment Finder, which provides access to product information such as product carbon footprint statements and regulatory documents, and the Pigment Viewer app, which leverages the latest colour digitalisation technology.
