adapa Group is making conscious packaging choices easier by providing verified CO₂e data directly within every quotation. The new Carbon Calculator gives customers immediate access to trusted emissions data, helping them make more informed sourcing decisions.

Developed in partnership with Benchmark Consulting, the solution combines commercial costing precision with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies in a single platform, enabling consistent carbon footprint calculations across materials, production, transport and energy usage. The company will be the first packaging group to implement an independently verified, ISO 14067-aligned carbon calculation system integrated directly into its commercial quoting processes.

The rollout represents a significant step ahead in achieving adapa’s sustainability and CO₂e transparency goals, helping customers address growing ESG reporting requirements and increasing demand for verified environmental data as opposed to in-house claims. “This solution provides our customers with trusted, comparable CO₂e data directly within the quotation process. It allows us to move sustainability discussions from assumptions to measurable facts and helps customers make better-informed packaging decisions,” said Stefano Manfredi, chief sales officer at adapa Group.

By integrating verified CO₂e modelling directly into pricing workflows, adapa is setting a new benchmark for the packaging industry globally,” adds Liam Barbary, company director at Benchmark Consulting.

The Carbon Calculator is being rolled out group-wide and will support adapa customers in making more conscious packaging choices, CO₂e reporting, sustainability claims and future regulatory requirements related to packaging and environmental transparency.
