Air Control Industries (ACI) has launched Hyroic, a new range of modular drying systems developed for packaging and labelling operations in the food and beverage sector. The platform is designed to address moisture-related issues that can affect code quality, label application, seal integrity and inspection performance on high-speed packaging lines.

As packaging formats become lighter and more complex, and line speeds continue to increase, even small amounts of residual moisture can lead to blurred or unreadable codes, poor label adhesion and higher rejection rates. Hyroic has been engineered specifically to support these critical stages of the packaging process with consistent, energy-efficient airflow.

TOP AND SIDE DRYER PRODUCT VIEW.1.1The Hyroic range is modular, allowing drying stations to be configured for pre- and post-labelling, pre-coding and pre-inspection positions, as well as for post-rinse or post-pasteurisation applications. Module configuration can be extended or repositioned as new pack formats are introduced or as line speeds are increased, helping packaging engineers accommodate change without extensive mechanical rework.

Unlike compressed-air drying systems, Hyroic uses electric blower technology to deliver targeted, high-velocity airflow with lower energy demand and reduced maintenance. Corrosion-resistant materials and standardised components are intended to support reliable operation in wet and washdown environments, while optional acoustic and hygienic enclosures allow integration in noise-sensitive or high-care zones.

Dan Anjos, business development manager at Air Control Industries, said: “From code legibility to label adhesion, moisture control has a direct impact on packaging quality and line efficiency. Hyroic was developed to give packaging and labelling teams a drying solution that is predictable in performance, easy to integrate and flexible enough to evolve with changing formats and throughput demands.”

TOP AND SIDE DRYER PRODUCT VIEW.1.1Hyroic has also been designed with future digital capability in mind, with planned developments including performance monitoring and condition-based maintenance to support higher levels of process visibility and uptime on packaging lines.

Air Control Industries is a UK-based specialist in industrial airflow and drying systems for manufacturing environments worldwide. Hyroic is its dedicated modular drying range for food and beverage packaging and labelling lines, combining application-specific airflow design with a scalable, energy-efficient architecture.
