ASHE Converting showcases Sapphire s2 at ICE Europe
ASHE Converting Equipment will be running its world-renowned Sapphire s2 slitter rewinder, displaying it’s electrically powered unwind (no hydraulics) and unique tension isolation by vacuum roller.
Furthermore, the machine will feature its automatic diameter computation by algorithm and driven lay-on system.
The Sapphire s2 on display will be 1650mm wide with 1200mm unwind diameter and 800mm rewind diameter capabilities equipped with razor and rotary shear slitting, 76mm differential rewind shaft and an automatic laser core positioning device. The maximum speed of the machine is 700m/min.
