Automated digital offset press
Presstek is presenting the 75DI digital offset press offering high quality (300 lpi or stochastic screening); extreme automation (six-minute job-to-job turnover); and a small environmental footprint with waterless printing technology, chemistry-free imaging on-press, fast run-up for minimal waste and consistent quality. The 75DI will be presented in a five-color configuration with inline aqueous coater.
A new quality control and print inspection system on the 75DI not only reads the color bar on each sheet, adjusting color on the fly but checks each sheet for print defects including hickeys, marking, scumming or scratching. Providing feedback to the controller ensures consistently high quality from sheet-to-sheet and job to job and the best quality print in the industry, says Presstek.
Presstek will also highlight its 52DI 52cm landscape format press and complete range of digital CTP plates along with its expanded thermal plate portfolio including the new PhD 830 a negative-working thermal preheat plate that is compatible with the industry’s leading thermal CTP systems.
