Organisers of the RotoMetrics European Open House event, taking place at the company’s European headquarters in the West Midlands on September 27 and 28, 2016, have announced the addition of new partners – FINAT, EFIA and BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation).
The event has become established as one of the key events in the labelling calendar. Its growth has meant that an extra 40 per cent of space had to be allocated for 2016.
This year over 400 attendees from the world of labels are expected to attend the event. One of the keynote speakers will be Sir Clive Woodward; a national rugby hero, his philosophies for winning and creating high performance teams resonate across both sporting and corporate worlds. As a keynote speaker he draws from his experience as the former director of sport for the British Olympic Association and as a head coach with the England rugby team.
Speakers from the retail world will complement a varied programme. Ian Schofield, from Iceland, will be discussing the trends that are taking place within the retail sector and explain how packaging is affected. Also, Paul Currie, from Lakes Distillery, will be talking about the creation of new brands. The final speaker programme has yet to be finalised but there will also be many speakers from the labelling industry talking about the trends that are emerging and giving an insight into how the industry will continue to develop and expand.
Over the two days, tabletop displays will be on show to facilitate discussions and enable networking. Gold sponsors for the event include: Focus Label Machinery, Graphic Republic, Herma, Nilpeter UK, and Platinum Paper. Additional partner sponsors include: ABG, Afinia Label, API Foils, Avery Dennison, Dantex, Epson, GEW, Grafisk Maskinfabrik A/S, GSM UK, J M Heaford, JFM Plates, IST UK, Kodak, Label Traxx, Mark Andy UK, Paragon Inks, Prati, Sandon Global, Xeikon, UPM Raflatac, Vetaphone, and Zeller & Gmelin.
Neil Lilly, sales director at RotoMetrics, commented: “RotoMetrics is proud to once again host this flagship event for the labelling industry. By bringing together a variety of companies, engaged in all sectors, will enable visitors to experience at first hand the exciting developments that are taking place within our industry, and RotoMetrics is looking forward to welcoming visitors.”
