DuPont Advanced Printing showcases innovations at Labelexpo 2017

DuPont Advanced Printing will feature its DuPont Cyrel Easy ESM and EFM plates, the newest additions to the Cyrel Easy plate portfolio, at Labelexpo, Brussels, Belgium, Hall 11, Stand B16, September 25-28, 2017.

Cyrel Easy ESM and EFM are mid-durometer plates developed specifically for paper printing applications and used in solvent and Cyrel Fast thermal processing. Both plates have been designed to meet quality image reproduction on various paper substrates with a single plate offering, while simplifying operations in the plate room, as well as in the press room.

“DuPont has continued to develop next-generation DuPont Cyrel plates to achieve a broad plate portfolio with high consistent print quality, serving all package printing segments. This new plate development is part of an on-going effort by DuPont to help drive progress in the flexographic printing industry by improving quality, sustainability and productivity,” said Bernd Daiber, regional director, DuPont Advanced Printing – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Our customers were impressed by the excellent ink transfer capability on both coated and uncoated paper and outstanding print results like improved solid ink density and reduced mottling.”

At the show, DuPont also will highlight the DuPont Cyrel FastT 2000 TD, a next-generation processor. The Cyrel Fast 2000 TD features several cutting-edge tools and technologies that contribute to higher plate quality, easier workflow and improved machine serviceability.

As printers and converters continue to increase flexibility to serve package buyers better by adopting digital printing alongside flexo printing, DuPont Advanced Printing is increasing its investment in digital inks for packaging combining 45 years of experience serving flexo and 25 years of digital ink expertise. During the show, DuPont will feature its portfolio of DuPont Artistri digital inks. Artistri inks deliver brighter colours, shorter production cycles and higher production throughput for direct-to-garment and roll-to-roll textile printing.
