UK manufacturer of UV Hot Melt technology, Elite Cameron, is co-hosting an Open House in Canada. The event will take place on 18 and 19 November at the company’s new UV Hot Melt Test facility in partnership with GMerix in Laval, QC, and will be supported by key suppliers Henkel and GEW.
The Elite Cameron HM750UV machine will be on working demonstration throughout the two days, with each of the supporting companies providing technical presentations. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the world-class GMerix facility and examine the technology first-hand with UV Hot Melt experts.
Speaking for Elite Cameron, VP Sales & Ops Matt Chamberland said: “We’re seeing significant growth in the UV Hot Melt market, and with GMerix’s expertise, we can take a concept and prove its merit in a controlled environment, making an already capable machine even more productive.”
The integrated line on show, with its real-time UV dose measurement, ensures precise curing control for consistent results. This allows converters to evaluate Hot Melt against conventional adhesives and solvent-based systems, before committing to major capex investment.
Matt Chamberland added: “The Elite Cameron/GMerix partnership is focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable adhesive solutions to the pressure-sensitive and specialty materials sector, allowing converters to move more quickly from product development to commercial production. We view it as a valuable industry resource.”
