High-quality spooling, slitting and foil cutting machines
Starfoil is a worldwide producer of high-quality spooling and slitting and foil cutting machines in widths varying from 400 to 1620 mm. Their machines are primarily developed for converting hot-stamping foil, but also suitable for converting various flexible packaging films. Starfoil also supplies flat-bed hot-stamping and die-cutting presses, cylinder hot-stamping presses, label printing and vertical hot-stamping machines from A3 size to 750x1060mm. The flatbed machines are equipped with Mabeg vacuum feeder and Siemens control system and motors.
The range of the Starfoil spooling slitting machines is divided in ProLine and ValueLine series to meet everybody’s requirements and budget. Machine options include waste rewinds, touch screen control and motor driven rewind rollers. All machines have accurate tension control and are equipped with shear slit or razor blade slitting technique. The machines can be built to specific customer needs.
Starfoil demonstrates their most popular spooling slitting model the ValueLine 1300 spooling slitting machine, which is suitable for spooling and slitting jumbo rolls on 3″ and 6″ cores to master rolls on 1″ and 3″ cores. Two 1″ steel rewind shafts are supplied with the machine as standard shafts. 3” rewind airshafts can be supplied as a separate option. The machine has a maximum speed of 200 meters per minute. The maximum unwind roll diameter is 700 mm, the maximum rewind roll diameter is 300 mm. The minimum unwinding width is 250 mm and the minimum slitting width 9 mm.
They will also display their new CLC 400 machine. This small footprint machine has been designed to spool or slit 3” hot-stamping rest rolls to 1” or 3” rolls by means of shear slitting. 1” and 6” are optional by means of shear slitting or razor blade slitting (optional). The machine has been built according to the cantilevered principle and is simple to operate. The machine runs up to 200 m/min. The maximum unwind diameter is 600 mm, the maximum rewind diameter is 450 mm. Maximum working width is 400 mm, but other widths are available upon request. Minimum web width shear slitting is 30 mm, minimum web width razor slitting is 9 mm.
Besides above two machines, Starfoil will also bring a simple but efficient foil cutting machine at 840 mm wide.
