Morgana Systems praises ‘efficient’ Print Show after committing to 2019

Print finishing specialist Morgana Systems has signed up to exhibit at its fifth consecutive Print Show, billing the event as an efficient day out for print service providers of all sizes.

The manufacturer is one of several companies that have featured at each edition of The Print Show since the event launched in 2015, including the likes of Epson, Vivid Laminating Technologies, Route 1 Print and Axzyra.

Morgana will return for the show’s fifth anniversary in September at the NEC in Birmingham, where it plans to demonstrate new kit to the thousands of visitors that are expected to attend.

Speaking about the show, Morgana’s marketing manager, Wendy Baker, has said The Print Show has proved a valuable platform for the company over the past five years, explaining that the event has helped generate a number of new sales and valuable leads.

“We’ve been at every Print Show since it started and it has always given us a very good return on our investment,” Baker said. “We have some new product launches around this time – so that just helped us make a final decision on what size of stand we took.

“Sales are the main reason we go, and we always do take orders at these events. However, the new product introductions will be a major focus for us, and we will be inviting key partners and customers to the event to see the new kit.”

In terms of what Morgana will be demonstrating on its stand at The Print Show this year, Baker has revealed that while visitors will be able to view a range of finishing kit, the focus will be on its new booklet making systems, including key developments with the PowerSquare range it inherited through its acquisition of Watkiss.

Baker has said new product showcases like this are one of the main attractions at The Print Show, with visitors able to learn more about new developments from a wide range of companies, all in the same place – something that is not possible anywhere else in the UK.

“Although it’s tough for business owners to get time away from their office to see new things, with a show like this, you can get a lot packed into a one- or two-day visit and see many things at one site,” Baker said.

“I think a day at an event like this can be very efficient if you organise it well.”

The value of face-to-face meetings

Organisers have also announced a number of other exhibitors in recent weeks, including the likes of Smart Print, Solopress, Nova Chrome, Blake Envelopes, YES Ltd, Tharstern and James Burn International.

Online printing company Solopress, which operates as part of the Onlineprinters group, will use The Print Show to connect with new and existing customers face-to-face. As an online-based business, The Print Show provides Solopress with the perfect opportunity to meet industry professionals in person.

Chris Fuller, head of ecommerce at Solopress, said the focus will be on promoting its fast turnarounds, print quality and competitive pricing to visitors.

Fuller said: “After spending the last year honing our digital print offering, we felt it was important to get out into the non-digital world and start meeting our customers face to face.

“As margins in the print industry decline, the economies of scale and broad range of products that we offer make us the perfect partner for local printers all over the UK.”

The Print Show 2019 will take place from September 17th to 19th at the NEC in Birmingham. Registration is free and now open at The Print Show’s website: https://www.theprintshow.co.uk/
