Spoolex at ICE stand#572 Hall A6
Since 1955, Spoolex has been engineering and manufacturing converting equipment and components through its two brands Calemard and Roll Concept.
Calemard®, the Converting machinery division of Spoolex, has been engineering and manufacturing off-line or in-line slitter-rewinders, spooling lines and roll-to-roll machines for 68 years now. Thanks to this great expertise the company is recognized as an expert in sensitive materials processing. Thus, Calemard’s machines are able to convert narrow strips (down to 2 mm!), with low and accurate tension control/regulation, precise strip conveying/guiding and optimized winding patterns (digital technology). The result is always compact rolls with consistent tension, clean and straight edges for easy use on downstream processes. Moreover, with an all in-house organization (from engineering to put in production), Calemard’s customers can rely on experts to carry out innovative and customized solutions. An integrated R&D and Engineering department also allows the company to offer automated or semi-automated solutions for loading/conveying/unloading/packing operations.
This Engineering department is also a key asset for Roll Concept®, the technical rollers division of Spoolex. Indeed, the mechanical engineers of the company are used to design converting machinery and so, to resolve inertia and mechanical stress. Thanks to this expertise, Roll Concept designs and manufactures standard or customized industrial idler rollers, chill rolls and winding cores/mandrels, technically and economically defined to answer your process requirement. Based on a specific Alveolus profile named Alveotube™, the wide range of solutions offered by Roll Concept are specially engineered to improve process performance – by reducing web tension on the process – and/or to help to save energy. The French company is also the European distributor for DFE web tension control solutions.
The Spoolex’s Sales team will be pleased to welcome you on our stand 572/A6 to discuss all your converting projects.
