Leeds-based Zebra Print Group has pledged its support to a Yorkshire martial arts team as it prepares to represent the region on the world stage.

The family-run print firm has committed to sponsoring Team ACMAC as seven of its competitors prepare to travel to Cádiz, Spain, for the 2026 World Championships.

The sponsorship will help towards the costs of competing internationally, with the martial arts team entirely self-funded and reliant on fundraising and support from local businesses to give its members the opportunity to compete.

Team ACMAC heads to Spain following an impressive performance at last year’s World Championships in Niagara, USA, where its competitors returned home with a haul of 27 awards, including nine golds, six silvers and 12 bronze medals.

Eight of the team’s 13 competitors secured world titles, with medals won across disciplines including point fighting, kickboxing, kata and team fighting.

Among those taking gold for the first time were Joe Wallace, who secured two gold medals and a silver, alongside Millie Jo Guest, Tobi Atkin, Ant Reed and Brandon Hunter.

This year’s smaller seven-strong squad will include Hayden Lindley, Hayley Lindley, Brandon Lindley, Tobi Atkin, Ant Reed, Lucy Crittenden and Darcy Criddle.

As part of its sponsorship, Zebra Print Group’s branding will feature on the team’s clothing and flag, which accompanies competitors to the podium, as well as across ACMAC’s social media channels and nine martial arts schools, which collectively have more than 800 active members.
