First Xstream installed in Korea for film coater
Together with its partner Pactive Korea, Hildebrand Technology has sold and installed its first Xstream noncontact high efficiency web cleaner to one of the leading film coating supplier of the region.
The demand for high end PET film is rising dramatically in Asia due to its use as one of the key layers for touch panels. The films functionality fully relies on its cleanness. Any particles on its surface prior to coating will diminish its functionality for the usage in smart-phones, tablet PCs and other touch panel operated communication and visualisation devices.
This was an important first step for Hildebrand to establish its products in Korea and being able to guarantee local sales and service support.
