Focusing on printed electronics
For the 13th time visitors from all over the world came together to listen to talks on coating, printing and measuring at Coatema’s symposium. The main focus on printed, flexible electronics in addition to various techniques for coat thickness measuring and spectral reflectance found general approval with the audience.
Many of the topics were demonstrated by the company’s R&D team in the centre which boasts 11 lab and pilot coaters, one production line with 2.000 mm working width and one click&coat-system – one of the largest coating and printing centre worldwide. Furthermore, a lab has been installed offering different kinds of measurement systems.
The live trials on the different lines are applied in markets including solar, fuel cell, battery, oled and flexible electronics. The Coatema team aims to make its next symposium once again a benchmark in coating and printing information.
